Goals 

Organizational Management and Leadership: 
  • Design an elementary administrative team Principals' Academy for their summer professional learning and planning sessions.   
Personnel:  
  • Design a new teacher induction program for all new teachers hired for the 2018-2019 school year.    
Student Achievement:  
  • Develop and implement a three year plan for both elementary and secondary adoption and implementation of Reading Workshop. 
Finance:  
  • Develop and project a district budget for the next 3 years.    
Special Education and Community Relations:  
  • Guide the work of the Early Intervention Pre-school team to map curriculum that aligns to the school age Kindergarten curriculum. 
  • Create a positive and well informed transition experience from the A.A.S.D. Early Intervention pre-school and local pre-schools to Kindergarten. 
  • Coordinate with early intervention pre-school and school age staff and administration to restructure individual family transition meetings to better accommodate families and school age staff in preparation for children starting Kindergarten. 
  • Design Kindergarten registration to include a screening process that will allow for early identification of factors that may lead to identification of disability or the need for intervention to avoid identification. 
  • Plan the ABC Camp for the summer of 2018 for children entering Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year.
